Winchester 94 semi-auto 12 ga

Winchester 94 semi-auto 12 ga
Is anyone familiar with this gun? I went Dove hunting and couldn't hit anything, it was built in 1984 according winchester historical records, I was using 7 1/2 shot for the birds?

Winchester Model 94 is a Lever action rifle.I think you're getting your models mixed up.Winchester does not or ever made a Model 94 semi auto shotgun.

Thanks for the clarification, yes it is not a 94, it is a winchester ranger, semi auto. Do you know anything about this gun? It has a modified barrel and having trouble with the birds? Thanks Sean

I used to own a Winchester 1400 Ranger in 12 gauge. It was okay; I sold it when I got a Remington 1100 LT-20, which is my perfect dove gun.
Anyway, mine was reasonably accurate and reliable.
Let me ask--what else have you hunted dove with? How successful were you with other shotguns? Is this your first semi-auto?
