Savage 210F slug gun questions
#1
I am considering purchasing the Savage 210F and was looking for feedback both positive and negative.
Also. From experience, what sabot's provide the best accuracy/performance for this gun.
Last question. What scope/scopes do you recommend for a slug gun?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome hcaarcher1. I owned a 210F slug gun but sold it due to a recent surgery. I plan to set up a 20 guage for next season. The 210F IS A very solid gun built to last a lifetime. Mine shot consistant 1' groups @ 50 yds. and 2-3" inches @ 100yds with winchester partition gold sabots. Timney makes an aftermarket trigger for this gun and a replacement recoil pad would be a welcome addition.
The only complaint i had was that because it is a bolt gun with a long action you will need to use a fairly long scope with good eye relief. It will need to be mounted high so that even 2 3/4 shells will eject properly. Hope this helps. Sorry for the long post. NatureMan.
