Hey all, I am getting a Remington 700 customized .280 with a 26" bull barrel and thumbhole stock. My dad is feeling awfully generous so he told me to pick and this seems like a pretty good setup to me. I am thinking about putting a Burris scopre on it. What do you all think?

Wow sounds nice, wish some body would buy me a rig like that. Sounds like you've got a really nice dad. Your scope choice is all dependent on money. If it were me I'd put a Leupold 4.5x14. Let us know how it shoots.

Either way you have a great setup.

I'd go with Leupold. Don't know much about the Burris scopes.
