You could not go wrong with any of the choices. Mine would be the .308 or 7MM-08!

call me old school, but if only can be had, it has to be the 30-06. Simply because it has been around longer than most other calibers and still out performs most others. The 30-06 shots very flat, ammo is easy to buy almost anywhere, can shot up close or way out there and it boasts a 30 caliber bullet, which can knock any deer, elk, bear, even moose down with not much trouble if the right ammo is used.
