We also have the luxury of being hired by the state to shoot CWD deer.

hi i just got a HOWA 1500 in 308 yesterday with a 4-16x40 scope. will try to take it to the range tomarow if it is not raining. anyone have any sugestions on what bullets are the most accurat in this cal?

I have no idea, I would buy a few boxes of different brands and see how they shoot. I prefer 165 grain Federal boat tails. I've found them to shoot better out of my gun then the ballistic tips or the Core lockts. My old 30-06 like core lokts. You have to play with a few to see what groups the best.
