RE: What is a Lady Smith

I bought a Lady Smith pistol for my wife in 380 it was a semi-auto compact stainless pistol. After buying 4 different brands of ammo for it and it jamming at least every time I shot it , it was quickly sold. I wouldn't buy a POS S&W again if my life depended on it.

if you want the closest you will ever get to a completely reliable gun get a revolver and use federal factory ammo.

RE: What is a Lady Smith

Stink belly, when you look at Smith's web site the models listed with the LS sufix are the Lady Smiths (I.E. 60 LS). There are several models in the Lady Smith configuaration. As Moose said this is a marketing tactic directed to women. There aren't any mechanical differances that I'm aware of . Again the only changes are in the finish and addition of rosewood grips.
