Anyone have experience (good or bad) with the scope rings supplied on the Tikka T3 Lite S/S? I just bought this in a .270 and want to attach a 2-7x33 Leupold VX-II to it. I would like the scope to be mounted as low as possible and not have to worry about it coming loose. If need be I could order the optilocks, but they are pretty spendy. If the supplied rings are good, I'd just as soon use them.

Noone is jumping on this....
I doubt that Tikka supplies different rings for their models, but check with your dealer to be sure. I just put 20 bench rounds through a T3 in 308 winchester, 168 grain, and neither scope or mount budged. Real tight groups, too. I won't brag it up unless I can duplicate it on another box of bullets, tho.
