If I remimber the queston right (which do you use most?) That would have to be my Night force NSX 12x42 NPRR redicul which ranges out to 800m. It is on my 700 PSS in 308 and I can hit annything in almost anny light. Oh it does help that the redicul can be eluminated.
Now for the price I would have to go wit zise,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe!
If price is not a cunsern, thin Nightforce all the way!

I use a lot of different scopes but the old Redfield Tracker which is 30-34 years old is always on my go to hunting rifle. Its been on 20 rifles or so. Its a 2x7x32. It been on many a hunt and bagged Moose Bear elk and deer as well as a couple pronhorns.

I have a Leupold VariX III on my three scoped rifles: Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .243, sportsterized .30-06 springfield, and custom .25-06 built on springfield .30-06 action with 24" medium weight barrel. I guess I have used the .25-06 most, but am planning on using the .243 more going forward, at least for awhile, since I just bought it new in fall 2003. I'll use the .243 and my son will use the .25-06 on a pronghorn hunt in mid-October (the .25-06 shoots easier because the custom rifle is substantially heavier in weight and had a good recoil pad whereas the .243 is very light and no recoil pad).

Leupold,
Perhaps not the absolute best in all areas; however, IMHO the best combination of eye relief, durability, reliability, reasonable optics, and price especially since I'm kind of fond of the friskier cartridges.
Did I mention durability and reliability and performance at showtime?
