I had a friend of mine visit. He had been in Europe and brought me back a surprize. He brought a German scope, a Seben Anaconda 4 * 12 * 56. I have never heard of this brand. The paper work is in German and all the web sites I come across are German. I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of this brand, and if so, what quality of scope is this???

Not a terrilbly expensive scope but that doesn't mean it won't serve your purpose.

Thanks 8mm/06. I guess Ill see what kind of quality it is when I strap her on an old 30-06 of mine and take her to the river. I had never heard of this brand and didnt know if it was a Chinese scope that is circulating through Germany. I have seen some no name brands, that were not worth a flip, coming from China and sold in Europe with major mark up. I guess I cant look a gift horse in the mouth. I can only give her a go and see what she will do. Ill admit, its a pretty cool illuminated scope with a 56mm objective. It gathers light very well.

Get back with us after you give it a test drive. Maybe it's a sleeper well worth what they ask for it.
