Has anyone here shot the 935? I am thinking about buying one but it would have to cycle 2 3/4 inch shells. Though mossberg says it doesnt some people say it handles them fine. What do you think?

I have a 935 and like it .why would you want a gun that shots three and a half and three inch .Just to put two and three quarter in it to shoot .

I read that they will cycle some 2 3/4" loads. Never shot one, but the author of the article recommended it as a good value.

The one that I have shot will not cycle 2 3/4 loads reliably. It has had several boxes of heavy 3 1/2 stuff ran through to be "broke in" and light loads will not cycle the action. The only 3 1/2 gun that I have shot that will cycle all shells is a 391 extrema from berreta.
