I have an 870 in 12 gauge and it never fails me. I also have a neat little Mossberg 500 in .410. Unfortunately, the Mossberg will not cycle reloads, and at the high cost of .410 fodder....

I have Mossberg 835, 870 Express, 870 Wingmaster. Like Rem. better,but never had a problem with the Mossberg and I've shot up to 3&half inch out of it. I can tell you that the 870 Express with the slug barrel kicks like a mule with 3" shells. I'm looking at Remingtons new 11- 87 that shoots up too 3 &half inch.

I own an 835 ulti-mag and I wouldn't trade it for a remington or a winchester any day. I have shot all three of them and I like the mossberg better.It is the only shotgun I own and I hunt rabbit,phesant,quail,And especially turkey with it and it has never give me any problems.Hope this helps.

I hunt with my grandpa's mossberg 12 ga. I love it!! I can shoot just about anything I want. REALLY good gun!!
