Fro,
If "that thing on the end of the barrel" is what it appears to be, then I certainly hope "dad" got the proper blessings from the Federales before you brought it to "show and tell".

FroMan,
I'm drooling...
I have the need for more specs...
What manufacturer for the rifle?
Who designed the "can"?
Is it a wet or dry "can"?
What are the materials?
Can I shoot it?

I think the AR is a Bushmaster. Not sure...dad bought it. As for the can, dad made it out in the shop in the backyard.
He's a nuclear machinist and we bought a lathe so he could make gun parts and stuff. He also did stuff in the navy. He's actually made a few guns from scratch, that you would never know unless he told you.
He's a walking gun encyclopedia.

Fro man great gun, I would love to meet and talk to your dad! The ability to make you own gun, and have it look and function, as good or better than factory, that would be a dream come true. WOW Does he make his own barrels too?
