Hey 338, I'm not quite sure why you're ordering a scope from a dealer. There are a few sights out there that might get you a better price on scopes. http://www.riflescopes.com/departmen...fle_scopes.htm
This one has pretty good prices but I didn't see your Sightron on there, sorry.

cwhitenton.. It is hard too beat dnrsports.com .. on scope prices or anything else.. I looked on the site you posted and looked up a scope that I know both of them sell, Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 matte and dnr is $34 cheaper. DNR is semi local to me has always treated me well and gave me a open account, Which has its good points and bad .. LOL .. Thanks for the info .. Check out DNR though .. Thanks Bill

I second what 338 said about DNR ..first rate i have been dealing with them for years. The Opticzone and Eurooptics are excellent to deal with also.

I have had 2 sightron scopes and they are great for the money,I had one on a 300 RMU S/S and one on a Winchester .338 win mag XTR.They held up great no problems from here,and these were the bottom line ones the SI 1 I pain about the same,wich I belived you have purchased.

I was just told by a neighbor (he works at the local gun shop for many years) that one of the head guys that worked leupold went out on his own and started Sightron .. Anybody know if there is truth to this?
