CorBon and Buffalo Bore offer high power 444 ammunition that works well for all game in North America out to 200 yds, including Brown Bears. However, for just deer, all you need is the Remington factory 240 gr.

tiger1, i handload hornady 265 gr fn for my 444 marlins.I have been using this bullet for over 25yrs and it works great for deer. If you don't handload winchester is suppose to bring out a new factory load in 444 marlin this year and i think it is the 265 gr bullet.
