Anyone use these scopes? I checked with Hunter who told me they have a lifetime replacement warranty. Scope goes south bring it back to the dealer for a replacement or mail it in to them for replacement. Scope is manufactured in Korea using Schott lenses (same mfr Zeiss uses). Entire lineup with exception of one is less then 200 dollars real market price.

never heard of them at all. are they new?if they cost any where close to $200 i would get another scope

They are less than 200 dollars , Cabelas now sells them and a couple of the discount mail order places do likewise.

How does their field of view at various distances compare with say Leupold or Bushnell, what are the eye relief figures, what is the percentage of light transfer, are the lenses fully multi-coated, how rugged are they, how big/heavy are they compared to others? These are some of the questions I'd want answered before I spent my $$ on one. I checked the advertisements and there seems to be a serious lack of info available - makes me skeptical. $200.00 is not much for a scope and usually we get what we pay for. IMHO. gg.

Goodguy , actually they are sending me a brochure..spoke to the marketing person there who referred me to a few gunshops in my area which I know real well. They compare with every good scope out there and have better eye relief then a bushnell...nothing less then 3.5 inches and the scopes are right sized . The glass is fully multicoated Schott lenses(again same Zeiss uses) . Weights and lengths are very nice and the scope body is one piece 60xx series aluminum. Hunter is not a scope company but they sell leather goods and accessories, this is a sideline business for them and they don't have a huge marketing budget, they are only following suit of other optics companies that don't produce optics in house Sightron,Weaver,Redfield ,Simmons, Bushnell and other lesser brands all produce overseas . I then called my local gunshops to inquire about them none have had any returned but they have instructions from Hunter to just change out the scopes with new ones if they ever do fail. To the man they told me they were a super bargain priced scope that is not cheaply made. We are talking in USD about 140-150 bucks for a 3x9x40 highest priced one is about 200 or so usd. ...When I recieve their technical brochure I will let everyone know any additional info. Percentage of Light and getting that figure from a Scope company is like pulling a rabbit out of a hat..just witnessed Leupold's latest ads claiming some get 98% light transmission and I am a long term Leupold user and pissed off at them for that debacle.

I looked at a couple at Cabelas a couple weeks ago. They were a good looking very clear scope. I don't know much about them yet. I may try one. 200.00 is about the limit for me for a scope as I have had excellent service from several brands of 100 dollar scopes. Bushnell and Swift are a couple good ones I have used. I never had any trouble with Tasco either. In hundreds of hunting trips I have never had any scope fail me.

I'd be very interested in your follow-up. Sounds almost too good to be true but who knows?? I've got a couple of rifles in my safe that are not sporting scopes because I've been holding off spending the money for Leupolds or even Bushnells so if you get more info that looks real good I'd consider trying one.

Need a hunting buddy? LOL I must honestly say that the only time a scope has failed me was my fault. I was a young kid at the time 14 or 15 and I wanted to clean the lenses of an old Bushnell scope that was on my 30-30 bolt action Savage. Well noone ever told me NOT to open them up to clean the inside. You know the rest! I have owned several different brands of scopes BSA, Clearfield,Tasco, Simmons, Bushnell, Leupold, Nikon and Unertl none have ever failed.

i was on a hunting trip several years back and had a bushnell scope.i was cold and rainy.the scope fogged up and got wet on the inside.the moisture was not from the rain.i had a simmons that got darker and darker.company said it had a crack on the inside.i bought my first leupold,when i got to where we were hunting i thought i needed to shoot it again to make sure it was still on.it was off.the left to right crosshair locked up and would not move.it does happen in the field and when getting a scope you get what you pay for.
