Hi guys, I have been debateing on a new gun I presently own a Springfielld TRP and a S&W airweight .38, (I also have a 454 and a .22 for hunting and plinking).
I've been eyeballing either a Springfield XD or a HK compact USP in 9mm. Both look good .
I've owned a Sig p220 , a Ruger P90, and 2 diffrent GLOCKS , the 21 and 19. I got rid of the sig and Ruger because of the DA transition. As for the GLOCKS The 21 had a lousy grip and both had bad sights in my opinion. ( I know some people love GLOCK sights but I always had problems.) If I get the HK I'm going to shoot it in locked and cocked mode.
Now I need a little help picking. Any Advise / opinions will be appreacited. Thanks Jim

If I were choosing between the XD and the HK, it'd be the HK hands down! I'm not taking anything away from the XD, but IMHO, the HK is the better pistol. As for the "cocked and locked", if its a single-action, thats the only way to carry it. I pack a Kimber and wouldn't carry it any other way.
