Default Marlin chat room shut down

Well, Marlin shut down it's chat room. Expect to see members from that forum to go here and elsewhere. I am one of them. We are a great bunch of guys and enjoy lever action rifles. I am sad to see it go. I was known as 30-30 Man

I was bummed to see it fall, that was a good place with some good guys...and some unique characters as well. This is the 2nd board I've seen mention pop up on.

Sounds like they won't pay someone to keep an eye on it and "administer" it. Same reason they don't accept e-mails, you have to snail mail them. Too bad, sounds like they are stuck in the '80s. I don't think that they realize what a valuable sales tool that BB was, no way I own a brand new 1895 45-70 had I not found the big bore forum.

Hey Marlin, I'm tired of the airline industry, hire me!!!

Hey gobuff
You are right. I am a lever action junkie. It was that site that got me going.
