338 for that caliber it would be a tossup with the Rimrock or Mcmillan the 1st one will weigh about 26 ounces and the other will be in the 32 oz neighborhood. The High tech should finish about the same as the Rimrock but it has no checkering and for that caliber I would want a good firm grip on the stock... The HS precision feels like a 2x8 in my hands it has overly generous dimensions and is suited to a bipod only situation...I can't stand the way they feel and I cannot believe I am the only one that feels this way..... NOthing good is cheap in this situation...if you want you can buy the High Tech from Brownells 210 dollars and finish it off yourself and add sand to the paint in the grip areas... The Borden and McMillan should be priced around 400 for a drop in stock...
