That's why you don't have to out run the bear .... just the guy hunting with you.

I say buy a .22 lr lever action. Then you could shoot little critters to survive on when your lost. You can carry tons of ammo for it. And if incase of bear attack it works really well for shooting ya buddy in the foot. lol just had to say that.
