Default Sako garcia question

Need some details on this one. Read a few posts regarding Sako garcia made rifles and post-garcia manu. What does that mean in terms of performance and current value? What years were these manufacutured?

In an earlier post I was inquiring regarding a Sako Forester .308 early 80's now the seller is saying it is a garcia. What should that mean to me?

You need to join and post your questions about Sako & Tika on the Sako Collectors Club. Very knowledgeable people there when it comes to Sako. gg.

"Many collectors view Pre-Garcia Sakos as being more valuable". (Beretta USA). Good luck.

Thanks for the link, will check it out. I have heard a few confusing comments on the Sako, pre-garcia, garcia, value, etc. Need to get some accurate info.

The pre Garcia guns defianetly bring higher prices. The Garcia imported guns are generally viewed as having cost saving features that make them not as highly reguarded as the earlier rifles.
