i dont know if i would ever go with a stainless just because of the fact that a buddy of mine uses a stainless barreled gun and i was set up about 130 yds out from him in another stand and could see his gun shining like h*ll...

I like stainless on composite......not as pretty as blue on walnut...but just as effective. I treat my guns like the tools they are and that means they don't get babied.....a pretty gun would rust, and a scratch on a polished stock would break my heart. I'll stick with the plastic and stainless.
