Default what to do

Ok guys Iv got a dolima do I by a new gun or do I take my k98 and beld me a 22-250 for yots if I by one it will be a savage

Unless you do your own gunsmithing it would be cheaper to buy a Savage than to have a custom gun built . Maybe not as pretty but a whole lot cheaper .

Even if you do your own gunsmithing, parts and tools alone come close to $500. Buy a Savage and be done with it.

Thanks your right a good buddey of mine can do all the for free I just pay for parts but the new gun would be nice

If you can get the work done for free and he has the reamers and head space gagues then all you will need is a barrel (<$200 from Brownells) and a stock ($129 from fichards microfit). If you want you can add an aftermarket trigger and / or safety.
