Survey of Best Whitetail Bullet Type?
I wanted to get a survey of what the consensus of those on this board think is the best whitetail bullet type of these three choices:
1. Ballistic Tip Bullets or type of.
2. Ordinary soft point bullets( ie . power points, core lokts)
3. Premium Bullets in relation to core/jacket construction. ( Partitions, etc.)
Thank for your input. I will list results after enough time has been given for response.

Good answers above. However I could hunt every species of big game on the planet with just the Nosler Partition and would always be my first choice if limited to one bullet . That said we are lucky to have dozens of good bullets to pick from. In fact we are most likely spoiled. Corloks have been very good for me when it comes to dirt cheap bullets.

I use both Ballistic Tips and Nosler partitions, but the choice is always based on which groups the best out of the rifle. You could just love those partitions, but if they group like bird-shot from your rifle, ya need to make some changes.
