We own two Sakos and a Tikka and two hunting buddies own 4 Sakos. All of these rifles are perfect and demonstrate excellent accuracy. I'd say that they're worth it.

I own Sako's in 7mm-08, 280, 7mm Rem. Mag, 300 Wby. Mag., and 375 H&H Mag.. My Dad has Sako's in 223, and 7mm-08. With proper handloads they are all 1" or less shooters, except the 375 H&H, I never shot it enough to find out since it's not the kind of round you want to do lots of bench shooting with. It's just my opinion but I think they are definetly worth the money, get one you won't regret it.

I have a Sako 7mmRem Mag.Yhe gun made me drool, love at first site. It shoots nice ,only I can't get it to group well with premium factory loads. If I'm reading right Weasel and Wolf6151 are saying the same thing. I just remounted the scope and shot it again yesterday. Not good, atleast to me.
At this time I am preparing to send it to Beretta Service. Maybe Weasel and Wolf 5161 will tell us what they think I should do, ship it out or have a reliable friend work up some loads for me.
Just my 10 cents worth, Roman.

I have only owned one sako-an older .375 and it was fairly accurate. The action however was not very smooth and I did not like the dovetail scope mounting system.

I had a Sako several years ago. Chambered in 243 Win.I would get groups @100 yards that could be covered with a quarter. It was a good shooter, just didn't care for the caliber.I know the 243 is a good cartridge. It was just a little to light for my likens.Ruger Redhawk
