I've been watching the reports and comments from new owners of these guns very closely.I have yet to hear anything negative, with the exception that it kicks quite hard when using 3.5" loads, no big deal, just add a better recoil pad.Other than that, from what I've heard the guns have been performing flawlessly in every way, sounds like Mossberg has come up with a great 3.5" waterfowl gun thats affordable. Some guys don't like the idea of not having2.75" abilities, however, the Mossberg reps are saying it'll handle heavy 2.75" after being well broke in.Just keep in mind Mossberg didn't design this gun for upland or trap shooting[ they are going to introduce another model for that], it's designed for the waterfowl hunter and it looks like they've come up with a real winner[8D]
