I have a question about the clark custom and the Accuracy rifle systems custom mini 14's. One uses a bull barrel and the other a barrel harmonizer. What exactly is this and can anyone tell me any pros or cons between the two? My primary interest is for shooting coyotes at less than 200 yards. Occasionally I like to shoot neat little holes in paper as well. Since my primary interest is varmits, and my style is spot and shoot not calling, or shooting from a bench I thought maybe a custom barrel would give me an advantage over the normal 2 MOA normally associated with the mini 14.

Thanks RR I was wondering if I went with the adjustable trigger, Clark laminate stock and the 20 " SHilen heavy barrel from Brownells, would you have an idea of what kind of accuracy I might expect? I plan on reloading a 52 gr btsp, to increase accuracy potential.

Jed, RR hit the mini pretty accurtely...I might add to that.
Accurizing the mini is done by several gunshops and a friend had one rebarreled to .17 Remington. It had fine MOA accuracy but still threw the brass all over the country....of course we knew this was going to happen because it's a semi auto. If you choose to have your mini rebarreled and accurized ( a trigger job is manditory in my opinion) consider the .17 Rem, the .20 Tactical, or the 6X45 as well as the .223
I believe you'll be happy with your accurized mini. Of those that have gone that route all that I know have been very satisfied.
