Old remington damascus
#1
I recently came accross and older remington side by side with damascus barrells. It seems like it is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The guy is asking 275 and I was wondering if anyone had any idea what a gun of this type might go for. Any help at all would be appreciated thanks.

What condition is it in? It's only real value is as a collector item or for someone using it for cowboy shoots with old type ammo. I assume you know that you should NOT use modern shells in that gun. The damascus barrels won't take the pressures.
They are pretty but it's value is really in the eyes of the beholder. I'd think that was a good price if it is in great shape.
