RE: JAMMING!!!!
I've repaired several 870 problems similar to what you're explaining by simply polishing the chambers.
I chuck them in a lathe and polish with a dowel (wood) and 150 grit emery cloth. Remington is trying to hit a target price and missing the quality requirements in my opinion. It's always with the cheap 870 express. |

RE: JAMMING!!!!
Funny how some people are blaming this malfunction on "cheap" shells. Any quality pump I've ever shot would perform reguardless of the shells used. I can understand a semi being picky, but a pump??, that don't jive with me, new or not, a pump should handle anything you feed it[:'(]
could only pull the forearm back enuf to see all the brass on the shell thru the ejection port....like i could still pump it wen this happened i just had to pull pretty hard.... Another interesting thing I've noticed, the 870's are the only pumps that I've heard of having this problem. Unpolished chambers=poor Q.C.[:'(] |
