RE: any thoughts on Browning rifles?

Quilly,
The 300win mag is one of the hunter series. It' s got a walnut stock and blued barrel. It also wears a 3x9x40 Bushnell scope until I can get a Leupold for it.

It seems to be a great rifle. Still haven' t had a chance to go to the range with it yet. I' m planning on using the Winchester 180g power point bullets this season.

It may take me a little while to get used to shooting it. I' m sure it will kick pretty hard, but Browning rifles seem pretty well balanced and fit me good so the recoil should be tolerable.

All I can say is sweet. I have a 7mm rem mag. and a .300 rem ultra mag. both madalions. I really don' t think the .300 will kick that bad my ultra mag isn' t to bad but maybe it' s just me. But great choice on the rifle.
