I betcha I could have one built on a M98 action in .260 Rem...if someone was willing to fund the project. ;)

One gun for all. I, haven' t found and don' t want to find " one perfect gun" for me. I like to maintain an ever growing selection.

The well decked out deer hunter probably has at least three deer rifles......and wants several more.....
Is there such a thing as having to many? That would be like having to much fun or to much money.

I live up here in maine with lots of heavy cover. The .30-30 is perfect. There is no shot that you will get that you will need anything else.

I only have one gun for deer hunting so it has to be my perfect deer hunting gun.

If there is a perfect deer rifle, I have had it already. I may still have it. If not, I will have it soon.:D. Seriously I have had, and tried for deer, almost every caiber from 22 Hornet to 416 Rem Mag. Thats the main reason that I got into gun sales for about 15 years. I could order in and try out many guns and then sell them as used guns and recoup quite a bit of my cost. I also took in a lot of guns on trade and tried out most of them. I lost all track of how many deer I have taken over the years but I took more with a 308 and a 6.5x55 than any others by far. They are both perfect deer rifles. Right behind them is the 250 Savage and 30-06 then 280. If I had to give them all up but one though, I don' t think I could part with my 257 Roberts
