Does anyone know if Remington will allow other manufacturers to produce this round soon? I have shot the Remington Coreloc' s and don' t like them at all. I am trying to wait to see if Hornady will make them before I start reloading. Does anyone know anything?

Try the Remington ammo loaded with either a 140 gr. or a 160 gr. Nosler Partition. Either of these should retain around 60-65% of their original weight. I would lean toward the 160 out of your Ultra Mag.

I am currently shooting Remington Premier Ultra Mag 140 gr. Nosler Partitions. I killed three deer with them but I am not satisfied with the accuracy or the damage that it does.....
I shoot Hornady 139grn. BTSP and find that they do alot more damage and are more accurate......
What do you guys think

Stone Cold your probably doing more damage because the core of the bullet is slipping out of its jacket after going thru the skin on those deer and grenading them. Nosler partition at those speeds will either shear off its front end or lose the lead and shear some jacket material and leave a nice neat exit hole. You however did say that you killed the three deer with it didn' t you? Partitions in my experience are very accurate unless they are loaded in Remington Factory ammo where they really fail to impress me..
