not much into shotguns
other than turkey hunting I rarely shoot a shotgun, but looking through my inventory and the shape our country is in, I thought the only home defense shotguns I had were an o/u 20 ga. a combination 12/223, and 2 long barreled semi-auto turkey guns so..... had to look into something to fill that slot. Settled on a citadel boss 25, will break it in after I get the stitches

will pattern the thing with some TSS in the near future but not sure I will use it, am pretty loaded up with turkey guns. Have a 3.5" 12, a 3" 20, (Franchi 912 and an Affinity 3) and of course the workhorse Valmet 412.

The looks alone should scare any intruder. I have a few self defence items hidden in key areas of the house. After reading this I'll take one of my spares I seldom use out of the safe and put it where I can get at it quickly.

you can buy one for 320-400 bucks, available mags are 5,7,9,11,19 and 20. my only fault with it is you have to change a gas ring to fire 3" ammo, if you leave the heavy load ring in,, it will not cycle 2 3/4" ammo, will not even unlock the bolt shooting low brass

Looks like a hell of a decent gun for the price. The weight alone shows it is built pretty beefy. Anything that looks like an AR style is usually pricy. I could get 5 of them for what I have in my SBE. Looks like a great home defence piece.
