I hear the 7mm08 is wicked accurate but you have that size covered. I' d look for a .223 its cheap, accurate and wicked fun.

If you have a son that will be hunting and enhearting your collection and you can get it for a good reason i see no point not to get something that will probly worth the same amount if not more down the road in case of any finacial burden. This is one excuse i use when i decide on buying guns close to what i have already.

If the price is right buy it you can always resell it if you don' t like it . Thats how I got most of my firearms buying and selling . I started doing this when I was just a kid and have more or less paid for all my guns that way . If you see a deal buy it .

Of course the bottom line is that the 7mm-08 Rem is the best thing since sliced bread.:D Seriously though it is a fine shooting, hard hitting, light recoiling cartridge. I have one but I picked up a 270 Win because I am sure I will lose my 7mm-08 to my daughter if my wife doesn' t decide its hers first. Anyone got a 260 Rem to give away?[&:]
