Hello, I am trying to narrow my options on a hunting rifle. I am primary hunting pronghorn, deer and elk. I have a couple of options that that I've I've read up on but I can't tell if there is a major difference between them. The rifles I am torn between are Franchi's Momentum, and CZ 557 Sporter. Thank you for any input you may have.

first off welcome to the site
next the CZ 557 Sporter was discontinued in 2018, not sure why, but might make me reconsider pending why they stopped making it
as for the Franchi's momentum, I have never shot or really handled one, so cannot say much on either rifle
I have read some good reviews on it, so it should be a solid rifle
However and I might sound old school here, since both of these rifles are not exactly MAIN stream rifles, as in the most popular rifles on the market
is there any reason your not considering s rifle with more history and well, a LOT more common , so if anything should ever happen, or you simply wish to upgrade a part or make it more customized for YOU, it would be both a lot easier and cheaper and have a LOT more options if you went with something more main stream, a REM, 700, WIn model 70, Browning A bolt, and the likes!LOTS of savage rifles here too!
and all have price point models from the lower end to the higher end ina wide variety of calibers, but the after market world will have SO many more options, from simple things like scope mounts, (however I think both the above use rem 700 scope mounts bases so should be good there) t but after market stocks, to assortment of basic parts that can fail, like firing pic's springs, , if need a extra magazine or parts for a box mag and so on!!
NOTHING wrong with either model you mentioned I Know of(but again look into why the cz was discontinued)
but sticking to more popular guns might give you more options! barrel lengths finish(blued coated, stainless, and so on) on metal parts, and then stock options and so on, all for the same money more or less!
food for though, no bash on the above rifles your considering!
please up date what you end up with and how you like it!

There are so many rifles out there that will fit your purpose. Like mrbb stated, I'm not sure why you are only considering these models. Check out as many as you can before you "pull the trigger" and see what one fits you best and feels the best in your hands. CZ are nice but so are Brownings, Tikkas (my favorite) and Sakos among others. Any chambering from .243 on up to 30-06 will do the job. Mags are not required and for deer and antelope my choice would be any of the sub 30 calibers. (243, 6mm, 7mm, 6.5mm)
