Anyone know the difference between the Sx3 and the Sx4? I know it is a bit lighter but did any components change? My buddy swears by his Sx3 and Im not sure if the Sx4 is an upgrade or just the same gun with a new name.

Same internals, lighter, better recoil pad.

I have a buddy who has an SX3 and he says it's been a great gun. I don't know anybody who owns an SX4 yet (maybe me next year) but everything I've read says it's the same basic gun with a few minor improvements. I haven't found anything bad written about it mechanically.

Internet friend of mine hunts with an SX4 and says he really likes it. That's the best I can do for ya.

An email to Winchester's tech department should get you some solid data.
