We’ve had armed drones for almost 25 years, cycling soon - supposedly - into our 3rd generation of the Predator/Reaper/Avenger.
We don’t give them these menacing monikers because they’re cuddly.
The fun part - there are civilian drones on the market for very reasonable prices which have telemetric controls, live tracking, and payload capacity such any American citizen with a bit of disposable income and an ingenuitous inclination can create a weaponized drone.
