Based on the links you posted, there is no price difference. Under those circumstances, sure, go with stainless.

Huh, I Will have to go back and look, I know they had one that was not stainless for $339.

Ya just missed out on the rebate they had going. I ended up getting the Axis II XP in 308 for 277$ after tax. Dicks had it for 350$ and there was a 100$ Rebate from Savage. I think the gun had to be purchased before Jan 1 though.

With the guns you have posted 1 being the axis and the other being an Axis 2. The Axis 2 has the accutrigger and an upgraded barrel. It will also come with a Weaver Kaspa scope while the Axis comes with a Bushnell banner.
