Default H&R Model 88 Question

Hey guys,

Brand new to the forum. I was able to pick up a model 88 20 gauge with a rifled barrel. I’ve been trying to find a Ultra Slug Hunter but prices are high since they stopped making them. Any reason I can’t use the model 88 as a slug gun this year for deer.

Thanks
Stape

No reason you can't use that...shoot it and see how it shoots. There is an H&R Ultra for sale in our classified I believe. A 12 gauge if I remember correctly... If that interests you.
