I' d go with the 120s unless you have great shot placement or a bullet like the Barnes X. The 100s are pretty light and I wouldn' t have 100% confidence in a shot through shoulder and bone. I' ve always used 115 and 120s and had good success.

My father has killed alot of deer with the 25-06 and I too have taken my fair share. We have tried our fair share of different grains and I would have to say that I personally perfer the 120 grain loads. JMO

My hunting partner has always used 2506 for deer and 120 gr bullets have been his choice. He believes having a bit more lead is a good thing as you can' t always expect a perfect shot on wiley whitetail buck & the difference in trajectory is insignificant in his mind.

Out to 200 yards the trajectory difference would be slight. Either bullet weight will work fine. Do you reload? If so the 100 grain bullet will serve you well. I would load it to about 2800-3000 fps. The 100 grain may be a bit fragil for deer at velocities over 3100 fps. I shoot both the 250-3000 Savage and the 257 Roberts. Both are loaded to about 2900 fps. However the winchester factory loads for the 250 are only loaded to 2605 fps. They still kill deer like a bolt of lightning and thats the the 100 grain silvertip. The same bullet is used for the 25-06. They are all 257 diameter. Both of my rifles will shoot the 120 grain bullets as well but both are well suited for the 100 grain. Unless I knew I would be shooting at ranges beyond 250 yards I would stay with the 100 grain in the 25-06 as well. However the other give good advice and the 120 is great in the 25-06. The 100 is just my own personal choice. Anyway you are well armed for any deer with the 25-06. Good Hunting!
