I own a savage 112 22-250 and a 116 300wsm and both will shot under one inch at 100 and the 22-250 will put 5 shots under a nickel at 200. Havent shot the 300 any farther than 100 yet, still breaking it in. I love savage

I once asked a bullet factory technician what
gun he would recommend in the 25.06 since the
gun I just bought a month earlier would not
shoot worth a hoot with any bullet I tried.
I figured he would say Sako or something but
he said buy a Savage and shocked me. Then he
explained why. Well, he was right. Take a
Savage, have it glass bedded and the trigger
worked on buy a gun smith and you have one
accurate hunting rig.

In my opinion Just about any gun can be made to shoot accurately .As to which one is the most accurate it would depend on who you asked because everyone has a opinion . How well you shoot is the main thing in my opinion. Welcome to the board .

Guys I'm sorry, but I just have to brag a bit in the suject. I have a Browning A-Bolt Stalker II, SS 30-06 with the Boss. I'm getting .500" grouping at 100yrds. I'm even using off the shelf (cheap gray box) Winchester Super X 150 gr ammo. I don't think you can match anything to a rifle with a BOSS, out of the box.
Gotta love it!!!

My Rem 700ADL also in .30-06 will match that, also with cheap Winchester SuperX Powerpoints in 165 grains.
Sounds to me like most of the good brands will deliver outstanding accuracy in a fairly low cost bolt action rifle. Remington, Savage, Winchester, Browning take ya pick.

Well i have a marlin 30-30 that will shot 1in groups at 100 yards (factory everthing)
I have a Rem 700bdl 7mm shoots .50 groups at 100 yards (factory everthing)
I have a Savage M112 22-250 shoots .50groups at 100 yards(ditto)
I have a Knight Disc rifle shoots 1in groups at 100 yards (ditto)
Also have a 444. Marlin that will shoot 1.5 to 2.0 inch groups at 100 yards (ditto)
So i think it has more to do with the person behind the gun. I almost forgot
Delt H-Bar 223 1in groups at 200 yards (ditto)

My own knight disc rifle shot 1" groups with 250 gr red hot bullets.I have also seen a factory 700 shoot 1/2" groups (although it was a sendero) with one factory load.
