Heck, I'm just happy to see a new non-magnum cartridge gain as much acceptance as it has.

Hornady is coming out with a 6.5 PRC...they are claiming it's the big brother to the Creed...still a short action, looks about like a 6.5x284 in the one picture I saw.

I saw a spec sheet saying 2.96" for the 6.5prc.

Wondering if it's a little late to the party, looks to be 6.5saum, or -284, 6.5-06, etc type performance, in a midlength action, so a weird one... The game it was built for has already evolved away from the 6.5's to fast twist 6mm's, so I'm not sure who this one is really going to sell with?
