Need alittle help deciding between a kimber84m or Howa 1500. Caliber is 308 and both come in stainless.

Howa...half the price so you can spend the remaining cash on a good scope!

I had a Howa for a little while in a 25-06. It was darn good. I traded it for a lefty 243 for my cross-eye-dominant wife. I honestly kinda miss that flat-shootig, accurate little rifle. Howa makes a good product for the price.

What model Howa are you looking at?

The Kimber Hunter was just released and with their track record I would wait a while till they get the bugs worked out of them.

If rifle weight is a factor in your decision know that the Howa's are heavy. This is from someone who was using a Howa(S&W) before it was cool to own one.

Weight really isn't a factor in this. I held a Howa and love it but the kimber caught my eye. But like jeep said I'm gonna see how they work out the bugs with the kimber. I have watched a few videos and read reviews on the kimber they all said great other than the dbm is the only down fall
