Default Christensen Arms

A buddy of mine has a custom build Christensen Arms 7mm & I got to shoot it last week. Really a nice rifle (at least I think so). What do you all know about CA rifles?

Very Nice.

There are a lot of smaller custom rifle makers out there now-a-days !

Lots of guys/shops out there building super accurate rifles. Christensen seems to have carved out their niche by specializing in carbon fiber wrapped barrels and super-light rigs. Never seen one which didn't shoot lights out, but I'll admit - I've never seen a custom bolt rifle with that kind of price tag which didn't shoot well.

What model CA does your buddy have? They have a bunch of different models these days.

They are also making their own actions and barrel blanks now. I haven't heard much good about their actions tho.

Not sure which model it was for sure but looked on their website it it looks like the Classic II. It's got a carbon fiber wrapped barrel & is super light. Very nice trigger, crisp, clean, & breaks at 2.5 lbs. I shot a mulie at 337 yds. & it took 3 leaps when the 168 (I think) gr. Berger hit it right behind the shoulder...
