Default Sighting in a slug gun

When sighting in a slug gun, is it better to shoot a few different brands of slugs to see what the gun likes first? Or should I just start by getting it hitting the bullseye.

If you can hit the bulls eye every time; I think that's good enough - LOL

Most people try different ammo to find out which ONE your gun shoots the best.

I sight in with whatever is cheap, then shoot several brands to find what gives me the tightest group. Then fine tune the scope so I'm hitting where I want with the brand I want. Honestly depends on what you want it for and what your goals are though... Shooting at deer usually doesn't require 1" groups, but some of us like to have those groups. If you get good enough results with whatever brand you choose there may not be need to try multiple brands... That can get $$$
