Thanks all for the great feedback and opinions. I plan on getting to a local shop in the near future. Will fondle each and every single stack 9 and then make my choice .

I went to a local shop and had the guy put the Ruger, S&W and Glock on the counter. Fondled each, handed back the Shield first. LC9s felt good but the 43 is the one I took home. It just felt "right" to me. Have only put 1 box through it, functioned flawlessly and more controllable than I thought. Added one of these: http://www.highnoonholsters.com/stor...s/back-down-3/
