I have the Baikal 12 gauge over .223; great coyote gun (especially where there's the possibility of short- and long-range action).
Trigger's not fantastic, but it's still the most accurate rifle I own. Twice I've shot five bullets into 1-3/8" - at 300 yards! (With my poor eyes and only a 7x scope, no less.)
I agree with the regulation problems (slugs hit 6 MOA left of .223 rounds) but I mainly use the shotgun at close range anyway. Would be nice to get them regulated, but I haven't figured out how.
