Default Blue Book of Gun Values

How important is it to have the MOST recent edition of the S. P. Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values? I'm asking b/c I've been given the task of valuing my dad's collection of military guns. These guns are anywhere from 70 to 125 years old, so I'm wondering how much their values have changed in the past 10 years or so.

I can buy a brand new 35th edition book for $43.17 delivered, and I can buy a 31st edition for $6.71 delivered.

Is it really necessary, for my purposes of getting ballpark prices, to have the latest edition?

I wouldn't buy one that was more than 5 years old.
Look on bookfinder.com, alabris.com or abesbooks.com and see if you can find a used copy cheaper.

Thanks for the sites to try. I'll check them out and look for the best deal on an edition that is either new or only a couple years old.
