SIMMONS BEST SCOPE?

IS THE AETEC OR WHITETAIL EXPEDITION A BETTER SCOPE? OR DO THEY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE THATS THEIR BEST?

I have one of each. I like the Aetec a bit more. It appears to have a wider field of view at comparable magnafication setting and is brighter at the edges.

My Aetec is mounted to a 700 BDL chambered in 300 Ultra Mag. Hasn't lost its zero over three seasons of shooting.

Both of them are junk. Spend $180 and buy a leupold Vari-XII.

Picked up the Simmons Aetec 2.8x10 - for my featherweight 270. I have an old 44mag on my 300WM sako that never let me down so can't complain about the simmons quality becuase everything I own gets abused a bit. I checked the scopes for field of view and brightness and think the AETEC is the better scope. I wouln't put on the front extender though - cuts down on light transfer I think.
