"plinking" with a .460! Isn't that an oxymoron? I would assume it is more "blasting"
Actually I've been thinking about getting a .460 due to its versatility but haven't got one yet. I've been shooting a S&W 29 in .44 for years and also shot a BFR .45-70 for a while. I'm not recoil shy but I can't imagine the recoil of the .460 being worse than the BFR.

Ive been loving it. Been burning thought the ammo. Got my eye on a 45/70 BFR right now. Trying to talk a buddy out of it. If not, a 444 BFR is going to get ordered.

The Smith VXR 460 recoil is not bad at all. I've shot 45/70 Mag Research, and the 460 is less than the 45/70. I really like the 45/70. I think my next revolver will be 45/70, 450, or 444 marlin BFR. I like the 444 but with a 460 it is kind of pointless. Their speeds are similar. I love the hand cannons.
