Default anyone from Illinois please help!

i have always been told that in Illinois you have to have your shotgun pluged to hold 2+1 even when your not hunting, but after looking on the internet im wandering if its true is it just for hunting or always? thanks in advance!

Default Illinois shotgun

you have to have a plug in when you are hunting, you can take the plug out if you are not.

Correct except for when in spring white goose season and you can take the plug out. Then only for hunting. Otherwise you don't.

+1, Have also heard rapid shots at a count more than 3 off in the distance...

There are some hunters that don't know the plug rule... Wish I was kidding.
